Patchs des 19 et 20 décembre 2006

Message par Socfredis » 21 déc. 2006 20:38

Hello :D

Vanguard Build 01621 Patch Notes 12/19/2006

GAMEPLAY
- Group Loot: Added auto split coin option on the group loot options window. Coin is split and sent to group members' inventory upon looting of the corpse.
- Group Loot: Increased the time to submit your roll request or pass to 30 seconds.
- The charm bug allow multiple NPCs to get in the charm state has been fixed.
- Added a basic "Looking For More" system. Group leaders can now type "/lfm" in order to flag their group as Looking For More. Type "/help lfm" for command usage. More LFM functionality is coming soon.
- You can search for groups that are looking for players of your status using the "lfm" parameter in /who, e.g. "/who all lfm". Type "/help who" for more information.
- The group's current LFM status and control will be transferred to the new leader when the leader changes.
- Item damage on 1 handed and 2 handed weapons was sometimes overlapping because of a bug. This bug has been fixed and fast 2 handed weapons should now have significantly greater damage than slow 1 handed weapons.
- Vitality is now the healing attribute. It functions in the saw way as intelligence does with a damage spell. You will get a penalty when healing if your vitality is low relative to the spells level and up to a 25% bonus if your vitality is high. This will give healers the same amount of attribute dependence as the other archetypes and is part of the healer conversion to the new combat systems.
- One handed axes should now be wieldable in either hand, it was an oversight that they were not wieldable in either hand previously.
- Added code support for innate race/class/level abilities. If you meet the race and/or class requirement, and are at or above the required level, your character will automatically learn the ability.
- Added code support for passive abilities. Passive abilities are automatically cast on your character when acquired, and cannot be cast directly.

ADVENTURING
- Added the new weakness system to the Warrior, Dread Knight, Bard, and Ranger. The following classes should now be on the new weakness system: Sorcerer, Druid, Monk, Rogue, Necromancer, Warrior, Dread Knight, Bard, and Ranger.
- Transitioned many counterattacks and rescues which had been overlooked to the new damage system.
- Dread Knight - Provoke should no longer display double messages.
- Dread Knight - Removed the diminishing returns from Provoke. It now has 8 second refresh time.
- Dread Knight - Transitioned Dread Knight chains over to the new system.
- Druid - Increased the damage of Calamities by 20%, must be El Nino.
- Druid - Removed refresh timer off of Ensnare, added cast timer of 2 seconds
- Druid - Added new Wonder. Life Stream is now available at level 15.
- Necromancer - Lich Form should now increase hit points by the correct amount.
- Necromancer - Devour Curse now requires a curse to devour.
- Psionicist - Renamed Gebron's Dementia. It is now Chronoshift. Wasn't demented enough to bear the Gebron tag.
- Psionicist - All damage powers have been converted to the new system. Please report any issues.
- Ranger - Ranged chains are in! You now have Arrow of the Sun and Arrow of the Moon available on trainers. A ranged chain starts by scoring a critical hit with any ranged attack you have available.
- Rogue - Blackjack now costs 30 endurance. 5-card Stud last seen laughing in the corner.
- Warrior - Overwhelm should no longer deal obscene damage.

CRAFTING
- More crafting quests have been added. Also gravity continues to function and the earth is still rotating.
- The Style Quests have had their recipe names adjusted.
- The outfitting "Learning Qalian Style" quest recipe now accepts jute bolts properly.
- Fixed some issues with the Thestran Amateur Tier recipes.
- Qalian Apprentice Outfitter quest now gives you the correct recipes.
- Adjusted action cost values.
- Removed quality only tool action and created a quality only utility action.
- The Kojani Blacksmith Amateur Quest recipes now produce Kojani items instead of Thestran ones.

DIPLOMACY
- Kojan Humans are now a valid race for newbie Diplomacy. Enjoy your wacky excursion through the ranks of the Imperial government.
- Modified some decks for Lomshir Civic Diplomacy, but not enough to make you think they are easy to beat.
- Half-elves are now a valid race *TEMPORARILY* on the Kojani Human line, and will be patched in as a unique diplomacy race later. If you play a half-elf through the human line, this will prevent you from trying the half-elf line with the same character later. For real this time.
- Dwarven beginner diplomats may once again train in diplomacy. Check out their new newbie line by seeing Bahz Runecarver the camp outside Rille's Strike.
- Katla has been moved in the hopes that her new location will not be bugged and allow her to spawn. Raki and wood elf diplomats should be able to continue down their lines.

WORLD POPULATION
- Population Tweaks to Ksaravi Gulch Region
- Tweaked general overland to be a little less crowded in some areas that were also covered by patrols.

- Gazelle's are no longer aggressive... hopefully.
- Oasis Dracosnaps are now three dots (they were almost three dots, but not showing up as such!).
- Strategist Timol has been tweaked to hopefully, not one shot people. Good luck!

- The Marsh of Peril is Now Live!
This area is designed for players between the levels of 28 and 38 primarily - though there is some content that is "higher" than this
There are two premier dungeons within this area - The Ruins of Vol Tuniel and the Lair of the Drake Riders
Those interested in adventuring into the Marsh should travel to the Wardship of the Sleeping Moon - the fortress of the Celestine Ward located in Shaman's Glade
A wide variety of overland camps are available for small group and group play throughout the Marsh of Peril
Several "detailed" quests have been added to the Marsh, have fun getting your faction for these
Known Issues in the Marsh of Peril:
- The /final room/ in the Vi'Rak section of Vol Tuniel has not been tuned and rewards no loot other than tokens at this point in time
- Faction requirements and faction rewards will continue to be tweaked - they are likely to steep at the moment
- Faction gains are not all working correctly for NPC kills. This will sadly hinder you in your efforts here.

GUI
- Settings interface updated.
- The Who/LFG window tab of the Social window has been updated. You can now set yourself LFG with a comment from the window in addition to doing simple searches. More advanced searches will likely come soon.

- Item roll window now autocloses in 8 seconds after loot roll session is over.
- The Guild management interface has been updated.
- A Looking For More window has been added. If you are a group leader, you can access this window from your right-click menu or by using "/lfm" with no options. You may check any number of classes, or use the buttons to select or deselect entire archetypes, as well as entering a min/max level and a comment. You may modify your request or stop looking at any time. Players who do "/who lfm" or "Find Groups" in the social window will see your group if they match your criteria.

CODING
- Using keyboard-look controls (LookUp, LookDown, CenterView) will now rotate your character as well. This means that controlling your character using the keyboard while swimming and flying should be much more intuitive now.
- Your client audio/video settings will be reset this patch.
- Improvements to cloud colors for every hour of the day, and weather condition.
- Fixed a problem that was preventing player lights from illuminating correct on terrain, which is sort of an important part of their job.
